  The APO 1.4XE teleconverter has been optimized for the CFE 5.6/350 mm telephoto super achromat
  By extending the focal length by a factor of 1.4 – whereby the speed is reduced by one f-stop – a 490 mm lens is created with this combination
  The converter can also be combined with the Sonnar CF 5.6/250 mm, Tele-Tessar CF 5.6/350 mm, Tele-Apotessar CF 8/500 mm and Tele-Pessar FE 4/350 mm lenses, and the data from FE and CFE lenses is transferred to the metering systems of the 200 series camera models via data bus connections.
